Technology Drive - $50,000 match available!

Far too many Lane students do not have access to proper digital tools. We at FOL feel strongly that providing equitable technology to ALL students should be considered the bare minimum we offer our diverse student-body. Anything less is unacceptable. In an effort to close the digital divide, Friends of Lane, in conjunction with Principal Tennison, have agreed to launch this important fundraising campaign. Our goal is to help more people—especially those in under-served communities—benefit from the promise of technology, in the classroom and beyond. Please consider making a contribution today.

Business Sponsorship Street Banners

Friends of Lane is launching a new program to help achieve our fundraising goal, but also encourage members of our broader community to partner with us toward our vision. Beginning January, 2018, businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to publicly display their support of Lane through a street banner program on Western and Addison between Roscoe and Rockwell Streets. Your tax deductible donation of $2,500 qualifies you for 12 consecutive months of advertising on one of the beautiful designed banners shown above. Your logo will be prominently displayed and each banner will also display one of the following words which you can select: Tradition, Excellence or Ingenuity.  Literally thousands of cars, buses and pedestrians travel past Lane on a daily basis. The banners will provide wonderful exposure for your business and also a statement of support for Lane Tech, our students, our history and the institution of public education. Every dollar raised by Friends of Lane is invested back into the school. In this time when the concept of public education for all is in jeopardy, we hope you will join us in this important display of support.
